Description

Step into a classic A-Frame in the quiet and peaceful neighborhood of Chamberlands, with access to the HOA amenities!  These include tennis, pier, pool and private beach access.  A shuttle runs during the summer, every 30 minutes, giving you a quick ride to the action.  

With its spacious front deck and large picture windows, this home welcomes abundant natural light into the warm and inviting living area. The open-concept layout seamlessly connects the living room, dining area, and kitchen—creating the perfect space to relax by the gas fireplace after a day of Tahoe adventure.

This cozy mountain retreat comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests across two bedrooms, a den and loft. The main floor features a king bedroom, while the second floor offers a queen bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The loft, accessed by ladder, includes four twin beds, making it a fun and comfortable spot for kids or extra guests.

D.L. Bliss, Sugar Pine and Emerald Bay are all just a short drive away and there are hiking trails walking distance away. In the winter you are just minutes to the Homewood Ski Resort, and close to Sherwood Access of Palisades Alpine, or Palisades. The front side of Alpine Meadows and Palisades Tahoe are about 30 minutes away.

Loft: 4 Twins (Access via ladder)

PARKING:
Parking is available for a maximum of 4 vehicles. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months. 

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+ 
* This is a non-smoking home. 
* Pets are not allowed at this home. 
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults.
* Use of the BBQ and outdoor furniture is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Your safety matters. This property ,may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.
**Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of electronically signed Rental Agreement within 48 hours of booking the reservation**

**Available for 2026 ski lease starting as early as January 8, 2026. $3,900 per month for rent, garbage, internet and driveway snow removal. Review the application on our Ski Lease tab of the Tahoe Rental Company website. Online booking is not available, so please review the ski lease tab, then contact us for more information to determine the next steps to ski or ride like a local this season!

We came for 3 nights on Christmas break. It was an amazing experience, with the cabin being a huge part of this.The cabin looks exactly as described, with 3 double bed rooms and a cute little attic with single beds for the kids. All the rooms were clean and tidy.The living room is very comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with everything needed, so we could cook and serve our own meals easily.The heating easily heats the entire cabin and everyone were very comfortable at night.The wifi worked great and we were able to stay connected despite not having cell reception in the area. The cabin also has a landline phone for making calls if the reception does not allow it.Two things to notice when coming: download the lockbox code before going up the road from HW 89, since you will not have cell reception at the door. And make sure to turn off the electric bear fence at the little green box next to the front door!

Really wonderful stay at this place! My friends and I enjoyed our time and created great memories there. The rental agency did an excellent job preparing everything we needed. One thing to keep in mind: be careful when going up and down the loft stairs.

Perfect location, although walking to the private beach is a bit to far with kids and supplies, we always were able to get parking. The pool is a great option too! The loft is great for kids, but not really idea for adults. Patio is large on the front with plenty of room to eat and BBQ. We would stay here again!

We loved the cabin and really had fun exploring the west shore. The cabin was cozy and warm, bright and sunny during the day. My kids loved occupying the loft and having their own space. The kitchen had no more or less and one would need and we celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas there.

The property is located in a quite neighborhood. Homewood is a beautiful place to stay. House was clean with nice large shower downstairs. The house has a lot of bear security. Would be nice to include a few instructions in the check in information about this. Beautiful deck. Overall great stay

Very comfortable; this house has everything you need for a summer getaway. Nice to have two bathrooms; one with a shower and there’s a tub to bathe any little ones! The third floor is accessible by ladder, so that is better suited for older kids. The great thing about Chambers Landing is the access to the private pool and beach.

This house is in a great location if you want to take advantage of the Chambers private beach and amenities. While there is a shuttle that circles the neighborhood, we found it was a very short walk. We traveled with our dogs and although the private beach does not allow them, the public beach alongside it does. The house itself is small but nice and functional with some upgrades. It is also well stocked with spices etc. Beds were comfortable and the shower was excellent. It was also very clean.
We're so happy you enjoyed your stay and took advantage of the beach. We hope you'll come back again soon.
