We had a wonderful time. The home was in a good location and very clean and comfortable. We could walk to a forest area with a trail to sled and snowshoe.

We spent four nights at the Muletail Lodge and had the best time. The house is just tucked away in the neighborhood to make it peaceful without lots of traffic, but still quick and easy to get to the main road around Tahoe. Coffee every morning on the deck was a great start to the day, and we finished a few nights off the back with wine and a great view of the trees. The management company was incredibly helpful, and we loved how informative the material in the home was. Our first time in Tahoe could not have gone better, and we will be back to this home with friends next time!

Enjoyed our six night stay at the Muletail Lodge and especially the visits from the neighborhood dog Blue. As there is no ac and couldn't open the windows because of smoke from the fires, didn't sleep well the first night. Called the management office the next day and they brought over a couple of extra fans. Fortunately, smoked disappeared for the next few days but did come back toward the end of our stay which was no fault of the owners. Property was clean but could use a bit of updating. The location was close to several beaches, activities and restaurants. Our group would recommend the property.

We enjoyed a great long weekend. Great location, quiet and peaceful but close to everything we wanted to do. Clean, well stocked and very comfortable. Could not have been better!

Perfect location with all the amenities. A bit outdated but overall perfect. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful outdoor deck, great for star gazing. Situated close to town, shopping and the parks.. Would highly recommend.

Located in one of Carnelian Bay’s most sought-after neighborhood, less than ½ mile to the lake and within minutes to Alpine Meadows, Palisades Tahoe, Northstar, Mt. Rose and Diamond Peak.  Large property for sledding and snowball fights. A short walk to the Tahoe Cross Country trail network offering beautiful trails for snowshoeing, back country and cross-country skiing.

Parking:
Parking is available for 3 cars total. One in garage and 2 in the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months. 

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+ 
* This is a non-smoking home. 
* Pets are not allowed at this home. 
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 6 adults. 
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Use of outdoor furniture is not guranteed in the winter.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Your safety matters. This property may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.
