House is general is nice. The size was very comfortable for the 5 of us and the back yard was great for the dogs. The neighborhood was in a nice location with hiking trails within a 5 min walk. The house is definitely in need of some maintenance and a deep clean. Multiple faucets were either very loose or difficult to turn on and you have to muscle the back sliding door to get it open. It was obvious that no one had dusted in a while, the master shower had quite a bit of mold and mildew in it and master bath had a spill on the tile that obviously hadn't been mopped-up. Over-all still had a good stay.

We had a great time on our family vacation using Tahoe Vacation Rentals. One of the biggest positives was their customer service. They make themselves readily available over the phone and text. It’s was such a breath of fresh air talking to real people who were there to help. Highly recommend. Aside from customer service the house was gorgeous and the process of check in and check o it was smooth and seamless. Communication was clear, we will definitely be back.

We had a great time at this home for New Year’s Eve weekend as 3 adult couples. We loved that there were 3 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms so no one felt subjected to having to have a lesser room. The kitchen is large and has all the basics you need. The furniture was clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the game room foozball and card games (the pool sticks are non functional as they are missing tips and the air hockey needs to be repaired). The hot tub is large and in a great fenced in yard that our dog loved hanging out in. This house is located in Cornelian Bay and is beautifully remodeled from the exterior with plenty of garage and driveway space for our 3 cars. We will definitely recommend and come back ourselves!

House was great -- exactly as described, lots of amenities. We used the pool table and very well stocked kitchen a ton. Fenced in yard was super helpful for the dogs.Only issue was that they were doing controlled burns in the area the weekend we were there and the air was technically at 'hazardous' levels. It was thick and hard to breath. Literally everything we brought has a strong smoke smell now, even our computers somehow. I guess bad luck on our part, but highly recommend confirming with them ahead of arrival that no burns are scheduled if you have any respiratory issues. Even our dogs were struggling by the time we left.

The property is beautiful, picturesque with lots of room for my large family. There are beautiful trails for miles just a block away. On the down side, the water heater is way too small for the number of people this house accommodates. Many cold showers were taken. I was surprised that little things around the house were worn out or broken. The jets in the master tub don't work, the window off the master bath was not able to be retracted once opened, the kitchen fire extinguisher fell off of the wall, Both gates to the back yard are settled and broken. It was described as pet friendly but my dogs got through two weak spots in the fence which is aging. An hinge is not connected in one of the kitchen cabinets. There are only two unwarped pool cues and the pool table leans to one side so it affects your shots. It all speaks to maintenance and upkeep. Not sure who is handling that for the owners but they have a lot of to do's on the list. For the money I paid, I shouldn't have to be fixing things around the house and property myself. All that said, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay here for the most part. With a little TLC and minimal investment, this place could be a top property. I'd start with smart tv's over the ancient cable setup in place. I'd go back hoping some of these things would have been addressed.

The Woodchuck Luxury Lodge was a perfect home for our family gathering. Renters just before us left an unattended dog that damaged the property. We were immediately contacted by Tahoe Rental Company to notify us that repair work was being done prior to our arrival. The lodge was clean, full of wonderful space and all the comforts of home. If there were any questions or issues, Tahoe Rental was very easy to connect with and 100% responsive. Our family would stay again and again.

This was a very enjoyable vacation for me and my family. The lodge is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. The game room is amazing although the TV remote didn't work very well even after I changed the batteries, and a comfortable chair or two would be nice. We brought the one in from the main bedroom, which was nice. There were a few minor issues but Tahoe Rental Company was VERY quick to respond. Beds are firm but it actually seemed to help my back! My kids loved the spa and being dog friendly was a major plus for us. If you're "pillow picky" you might want to bring your own. There are a ton of towels so no worry there. Other than a mop and vacuum cleaners (one on each level), there were no cleaning supplies available. Very nice washer and dryer located upstairs but the dryer takes a while to dry. Vent pipe may need cleaning. Having 2 half bathrooms (one in the game room) was very convenient since all bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The TV in the living room is a little small but if it was located on the mantle it would be more visible. Note: Those who may be offended by the presence of mounted animals may wish to look elsewhere for a rental. All in all this is a great place to vacation. It's absolutely beautiful! We will certainly rent it again!

We were here in the area for a wedding. We have rented many houses over the years, and this one rates in the top 5. The house was clean and well equipped. The large, fully enclosed backyard was perfect for the dogs. Unfortunately, we were there during the Mosquito Fire and the smoke was in the hazardous air quality zone. We never got to use the hot tub because it was so unhealthy to be outside. We would definitely like to come back when the air quality is better.

We had a wonderful time at the Woodchuck Lodge! Very comfortable and cozy and loved the large fenced in yard for our two Golden Retrievers to roam. Deck out back needs a little love, and would be nice if it was railed. All in all, we would definitely rent this home again. Thank you for having us!!

Beautiful home. Perfect for our family. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of food storage space. Loved the fenced yard for the dog. Location seemed equally distanced between Tahoe City and Kingsbeach. Disappointed it wasn’t walkable to the beach or Garwoods. Cons: The deck is without railings, small and dangerous. Outdoor entertaining space would be a tremendous plus. The dead animals and furs everywhere are bit creepy.We would definitely return.

Our family is spread across the country and we have not been able to get together until now. Woodchuck Lodge was the perfect place to have a long awaited Thanksgiving dinner plus do fun family things together. We wished we had an extra day or two, there was so much to do.

This cabin is extremely large! The upstairs game room is fantastic for our family. The kids had a great time playing hide and seek too, since there are lots of hiding places! There was an issue with laundry, as there is a washer/dryer but there was no detergent provided. The management company did drop some off promptly. Also, in my opinion, with a cabin this size, it would be a great feature to provide just some basic shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. The other Airbnb’s we have stayed in provided those, and it makes traveling for a longer stay much easier. So if you travel to this cabin, be sure to bring ALL of your necessary toiletries, or you will be running to the store!

This cabin is gorgeous and located in an amazing location, close to the lake, minutes from adorable Tahoe City. It has a fun game room with pool table, air hockey and foosball. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is plenty of space for coming together and space to be alone. The fenced yard was awesome for our dog. The beds were a little too soft and I wish we brought our own pillows, but overall the stay was relaxing and enjoyable.

This house was a perfect location on the north side of Tahoe. Carnelian Bay has enough to do without having to travel to Kings Beach or Tahoe City. Its also conveniently located right in-between the two when you do want to visit either of these more touristy areas. The house itself had everything we needed. My teen boys loved having their own bathrooms and spent most of their down time playing pool in the game room. Highly recommended rental for families.

Woodchuck Luxury Lodge is truly a luxury rental. It is beautifully decorated with good beds and a well-stocked, organized kitchen. Covid recovery affected our stay in that rental company was unsuccessful in getting a repair person out to fix a gas leak that was emanating from the newly installed stove. We had to keep the kitchen windows open the entire visit to neutralize the odor and this created issues for the seniors in our group who are always cold. As a former skier, this rental would be perfect for a winter visit and it didn't disappoint during our June visit. Great quiet neighborhood for walks and nature. Toured the lake by water on the MS Dixie. Choose a weekday tour if you go. Boat quite crowded on weekends. Went to Jasons Beachside Grill by the water 3 times and best meal was a Spindleshanks in Kings Beach. Management at Tahoe Rental Company is very professional.

We had an incredible time whilst staying at the Woodchuck Luxury Lodge. The house had every accommodation that we needed and then some. It was exceptionally clean (especially knowing that it was pet friendly), spacious and the perfect Tahoe vibe (the animal wall decor was a fun surprise too!)We made a lot of use out of the hot tub, fireplace and game room. We most definitely would recommend to everyone and will stay here again :)

Leased property for Ski Lease - well positioned b/w Squaw Valley, Alpine and Northstar and easy to downtown Tahoe City. The trails behind the neighborhood are great for snow shoeing and hiking. Tahoe Rental Company is one of the best in North Lake and highly recommended (very responsive).

Large home, lots of amenities, quiet neighborhood, dog friendly, enjoyed the hot tub. Only criticism is that carpets could use a shampoo, appeared clean/vacuumed but our bare feet were dirty after walking on them.
