This large remodeled home features four bedrooms and sits in a quiet neighborhood in Homewood.  Step into a beautifully appointed living room with large, wood burning fireplace and high vaulted ceilings connected to the open loft.  Adjacent is the dining room and updated kitchen with space for families to cook together, walk out to the back deck and find the hot tub below the pines.  This main floor includes a queen bedroom, bathroom, and laundry/mud room leading to the garage. Please note this home is not equipped with shades or other window coverings.

The second level has a open loft family room with ample space to relax, the primary king ensuite, two queen bedrooms, and bathroom.

* Use of the BBQ and outdoor furniture is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Your safety matters. This property ,may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.

My family and I spent an amazing week in this beautiful house. It was very spacious and everyone had plenty of room to relax and enjoy. When we were not out playing in the lake, hiking or exploring the surrounding areas, most of our time was out on the deck (which is lovely), cooking in the well appointed kitchen and enjoying the hot tub.We did have quite a bit of bear activity. A few walked right through the yard and one even came up to the kitchen window (just a bit unnerving) to see what was cooking.Overall, it was a great experience and we would like to visit this house again in the future.

Spacious remodeled home at the edge of a beautiful forest

Overall we had a wonderful experience at this rental. The location is lovely, as it's at the edge of a large forest perfect for hiking, snowshoeing and snow play. The kitchen and baths have been beautifully remodeled, were sparkling clean and the kitchen was very well-appointed. A few changes are needed to the home perfect. --The master bed was decades old and sinking in the middle. After one sleepless night we abandoned that and went downstairs. If we had come with another family we would not have had that option. --Invest in standard sheet sets and easy to clean comforters. Loved the flannel sheets on a couple of the beds. One of the beds had sheets that clearly hadn't been changed after the last guest and a few of the sheet sets were in need of replacement. --Back door lock was broken and we almost all got locked out while using the hot tub in the middle of winter--thankfully one of us was able to go around to the front door which had been left unlocked. --There was massive leaking into the home from the snow buildup on the roof--this is typical of the area but water did get all over the place and required us to constantly put down towels and do more laundry than we would have liked to during vacation.

Location is great. Lockbox access. Be aware that Tahoma neighborhoods can be unplowed (This is clearly stated by rental company). We had a lovely stay with a group of friends. Would stay again.
